White Food Recipes To Make and Eat After Your Teeth Whitening Service

White Risotto (no garnish) Recipe - compliments of Laura In The Kitchen

  • Ingredients

  • 1 Small Onion, minced

  • 2 Cloves of Garlic

  • 1 cup of Arborio Rice

  • ¾ cup of White Wine

  • 41/2 to 5 cups of Chicken Stock

  • 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil

  • ½ cup of Freshly Grated Parmiggiano Reggiano

  • 3 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter, at room temperature

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh Parsley, chopped

1) Preheat a large skillet with high sides over medium heat, cook the onions, celery and garlic in the olive oil for 5 to 7 minutes or until translucent. Add the rice and coat it in the oil, let it cook for about a minute.

2) Add the wine and allow it to reduce for about a minute as well. Add a ladle full of the simmering chicken broth to the rice, stir constantly and continue to add the broth one ladle full at a time making sure to wait until the rice has soaked it all up before adding in another. Continue cooking the rice this way for about 18 minutes or until the rice is about 5 minutes away from being fully cooked.

3) When the rice is just about fully cooked, add in one more ladle full of chicken broth and season with salt and pepper. Add in the parmiggiano and butter, turn the heat off and place a lid on the pan. Let it sit for 5 minutes covered. Scatter over the chopped parsley and serve immediately!

White Gazpacho - Compliments of Simply Recipes

  • Ingredients

  • 2 cups of crustless stale white bread (no crust), broken into pieces

  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock (use vegetable stock for vegan or vegetarian version)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 2 cups green seedless green grapes, sliced in half

  • 2 cucumbers, peeled, seeded and chopped

  • 1-3 chopped garlic cloves (depending on how garlicky you want the result to be)

  • 2-3 tablespoons cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

  1. Heat stock, add bread: Heat the stock until it's steamy. Turn off the heat and add to the stock the broken up pieces of stale bread. Let cool.

  2. Add bread, stock, grapes, purée: Add the soaked bread and any stock that was not absorbed by the bread into the food processor, then add the grapes. Pulse until the mixture is a rough purée.

  3. Add vinegar: Add 2 tablespoons of the vinegar and pulse a few seconds to combine. Taste and add the other tablespoon if it needs it – grapes can sometimes be acidic enough to leave out the final tablespoon of vinegar.

  4. Drizzle in olive oil while food processor is running: With the motor running, drizzle in the olive oil. Turn off the motor and taste the gazpacho. Add more salt if needed. Chill before serving, garnish with chopped chives.
